We will begin interviews in mid-May, with training starting in early June in preparation for the opening of our second location this summer.

FOH/Barista (Huntersville) - Interview starting mid-may

FOH/Barista – Part-Time & Full-Time - $15/h minimum guaranteed
Location: Cocotte French Bakery – Cornelius, NC

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable FOH/Barista to help deliver exceptional service and showcase our homemade pastries, breads, and espresso drinks. No prior barista experience? No problem—we’ll train you on all barista tasks and product knowledge.

We have openings for long-term positionsfull-time, part-time as well as weekends only shifts. Ideal for someone who enjoys a lively, customer-focused atmosphere and wants to grow with us as we expand.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and serve customers with warmth and professionalism

  • Prepare coffee and espresso drinks to order (barista training provided)

  • Handle transactions accurately at the register (POS system)

  • Restock, clean, and maintain a tidy FOH environment

  • Learn and speak knowledgeably about our daily baked goods

  • Work closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills

  • Passion for customer service and food

  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced setting

  • Weekend availability required

  • Team player mindset and reliability

  • Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required

Baker - No open positions at the moment

Baker – Full time – Overnight and Day Shifts (starting $17/h)

Location: Cocotte French Bakery – Cornelius, NC

At Cocotte, we specialize in authentic French breads, viennoiseries, and pâtisseries—all made fresh each morning with care and tradition. As our bakery grows, we’re looking for a passionate and motivated Baker to join our team and help create delicious products while most of the world is still sleeping!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, shape, and bake artisan breads and viennoiseries (croissants, pains au chocolat, etc.)

  • Laminate doughs following traditional French techniques

  • Operate and maintain bakery equipment (mixers, ovens, sheeter, etc.)

  • Clean workstation, wash dishes, and sanitize tools/equipment daily

  • Follow established recipes, processes, and production timelines

  • Work independently during overnight hours and communicate effectively with the team

  • Maintain high food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards

 

Requirements:

  • Prior baking experience or culinary school background preferred (we will train you on our French artisan recipes!)

  • Comfortable working overnight/early morning hours (3-night shifts: 3:30am – 11:30am + 2-day shifts: 7am-3pm)

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

  • Passionate about quality, consistency, and team collaboration

  • Serious applicants only: we’re looking for long-term team members ready to grow with us

  • Training is provided through our unique in-house program led by expert French bakers and pastry chefs
